New iPod Touchy Goodness!

Greetings from my new iPod touch! Last Friday Jennie, Keisha, and I went to the Apple store in Kenwood Towne Center (map). I now understand why so many folks rave about their experiences there.

After having all our questions answered, I bought Jennie and I each a new 16 GB iPod touch.

It is truly a remarkable thing to behold. Already we are loving that our music libraries can fit on it. And I’ve really started enjoying all the applications that I’ve added.

I am typing this from the WordPress application, for example. I’m still trying to get used to typing here, and I often fat-finger a word or three, :-) .

What applications do you recommend I check out?

    @minimumspecs I just checked out Aurora Feint The Beginning. It’s 24.1 MB large! Is that big for an iPod touch / iPhone application?

    That seems about right. I also like Remote and Twitterific. The free Word Press app is pretty nice too. I also have mobile versions of Fuelly, Amazon, and ESPN bookmarked to my iPhone’s home screen(s). Let me know if you want suggestions on some great paid apps.

    One more… Bloomberg is a great replacement for “stocks” if you are interested in the markets. Also, AF is a great puzzle/rpg. Not “dog” as the iphone spell check would have us believe.

    I wonder if there is a way to put a bookmark to a Safari site on the iPod touch screen. Right now, I’m only bookmarking it in Safari.
