Seven Months Later

lets start over

Over seven months ago, at the end of 2009, I recorded what was probably one of the saddest episodes in this series. I put the show on hiatus to concentrate on other things that needed attention. Producing this podcast had become more of a chore and not as much fun.

Seven months later, I’m coming up on the fifth anniversary of the first episode of this podcast. I remember when it was fun, experimenting and trying new things out. Making mistakes and not caring whether anyone listened or not. I’d like to bring some of that energy back.

Previous episodes only played independent music, mainly from the Podsafe Music Network – now called Music Alley from Mevio. Times have changed, and so will the music selection.

I hope you’ll enjoy this stage of the Journey Inside My Mind.

JIMM 123 (mp3, 47:42, 43.6 MB): The longest journey. Bringing back the original theme. Has it been almost 5 years – for real? The boys are back. Remember when producing content was fun? Maybe I’m amazed. It’s summertime in Cincinnati. How I’ve spent the past 7 months. Fire and regeneration. New Order’s age of consent. Music you probably won’t find on the radio anymore. Listening with Dad to his collection of LPs.  Thank you Ed Ovett, Zack Daggy, and Chris Meyer. Back for more soon?
